I had similar issues with my A65 in my T-Craft some time back. It ran fine until about 20 seconds after departure when it would lose power.
A temporary carb swap proved it to be the float in the problematic carb and a complete carb overhaul did the trick and it was sorted after that.
What ws the problem was the lack of ability of the carb to basically re-fill when I was under full power due to the float not being able to travel its full distance (does that make sense?). In the cruise it would have been fine but by the time the chamber had been used up under full power, there wasn't the inlet flow to be able to sustain that power level. Bloody frightening each time it happened....
It was a chap called Richard Kimberley who did the overhaul and apart from being very helpful, he also did it very quickly for me. http://www.richardkimberleyservices.co.uk/index2.html
I hope this is helpful to you.
