An easy thing to do as the software requires one to be logged in for the search option to appear.

It would make sense in our case for non members to be able to search the forums.

That's a good idea - I haven't used the site very much in the past, other than simply heading for Engineering - without logging in - I was looking for something more specific this time and presumed there was a separate box ...
