Emeraude CP 301 Rudder Pedals

Post by l8lover » Fri Sep 24, 2010 11:17 am

Any Emeraude buffs out there who could tell me if it is possible to move the rudder pedals forward?
My pedals seem to be in the standard position approximately 4 inches behind the firwall, as I am long in the leg it would be good if they could be moved a couple of inches forward.

Thanks.....Pete

I don't think this would have been possible on our Emeraude (now damaged and belongs to the Insurer...) because the pedals would have fouled the firewall - they come pretty close as it is. Other Emeraudes may vary, of course.

I maintained and flew a CP 301 for a few years, and I think it would be very difficult to alter the rudder pedals. It may be worth having a look at the thickness of the seatback, as I think ours was a few inches thick.
Possibly fitting a thinner back would give you a bit of leg room.
