Lycoming AD's - Info Required

Post by mb2 » Mon Mar 07, 2011 9:55 am

Is there a simple way to look at all the AD's applicable to a Lycoming O-320 Model No (YO-320-D2G). The engine was new in 2009 and first flew in 2010 (Vans RV9), the engine has 60hrs total time as of today. I have the Engine Certifcate stating that all AD's and SB's have been complied at the time of manufacture (27/05/09) but need to know the re-occuring SB's / AD's plus any that have been published since.

The Lycoming site is not that straight forward (to me). Is there a site where I can type in the serial no / model, date of manufacture etc, and it lists all the stuff I need to know.

The Y in the serial number denotes that the engine is not certified, this is normal if bought as a part of a kit from Vans, as they discount the price slightly and drop the certification, I assume this is something to do with liability.

Select Lycoming in "by make" in left panel

Nothing current listed for your engine

Steve,

Thanks, that's exactly what I was looking for.
There is an entry for an O-320-D2G (without the Y prefix) which has an AD reference 2009-26-12 dated after mine was made. I assume this applies.
