We Flew into Ostend 5/6 years ago (in a tb10)
parked overnight charged 70 euros
which at the time Le Touq charged 5 euros
but great airfield to land at
and a great time had in the town (walking distance)

shame everyone trying to price people out of the air
:(

Hi Nigel, there is certainly work going on but I am not really involved, and to be honest I think we have to let these things continue to develop in the background until a resolution is reached, and only then allow the airworthiness authorities involved to make the appropriate announcements. The speed of the Anglo/Irish resolution actually took us by surprise after the rather protracted situation with France, so you can see it isn't easy to make an accurate call on what will happen and when.

Hi Jeremy, bumped into Hubert at Friedrichshafen, great to see him and he is as ebullient as ever and looking forward to the Muritz event. I've been trying to persuade him to come to the Rally so when you see him have a go as well. Unfortunately I am not going to make Muritz, I am getting the Jodel back into the air this season but wont be ready by then. Tell him this time I am doing the top end overhaul before I get to Germany!

Hi Brian

You won't be using that Frenchman again then!! Shame you won't be there, maybe next year. I will press him about the Rally when I see him.

Keep up you great work on the magazine by the way.

Jeremy
