EASA CS23

I am looking at an exhaust system that is certified to EASA CR23. Does this have any bearing on it's clearance for use by the LAA on a permit aircraft or does it still require a full mod?

Thanks in advance

Hi Gavin, suggest you talk to Engineering as much depends on the aircraft it is going to be fitted to. You may be able to fit it and just get a sign off from your inspector that it complies with 'good aircraft engineering practice' but if your aircraft is approved as a complete kit including engine installation, you will probably need to apply for a mod.
