A proposal / press release by Medway Council at Rochester Airport this morning carries a hope that the Airport's future is secure.
Some suggest this is not going to be feasible, and that it is a scheme to get one runway closed and developed for industry.

The aerial shot shows that it has shrunk a lot since I took my PPL there in '76.
