National Trust Air strips ?

Post by H Stuart » Sun Apr 07, 2013 10:31 pm

I mentioned this to the National Trust as being of possible excellent addition to their services available to many of their members on the large number of properties they control.
This came to mind having noticed that they accept payment for landings on Lundy Island.
The reply was that this was an incidental service and had nothing to do with the National Trust as such and that the National Trust had no plans to allow aircraft to operate aircraft on any of their properties.
Just wondering if anyone else had been through this loop and had a different response.

Harry

The problem with your suggestion for the Nation Trust is that aviation doesn't sit well with their Green policies. (Mrs T was fairly senior at NT HQ)
