U-Pol Degreaser
I have U-Pol System 20 slow degreaser for cleaning aluminium sheet. It is implied that once the surface is dry it can be painted, but I have not found a definite statement saying it can. I am also wondering if it can be used with a scotch-brite pad to clean and key at the same time.

I used U-Pol slow degreaser.
I scuffed with Scotchbrite, cleaned with sugar soap and then degreased. I found it important to ensure that the metal was absolutely dry before spraying. The thinners is not as volatile as (say) acetone and takes a while to evaporate.
