Forum flyin to Little Snoring on May 4th

I have spoken to Shobdon who are very happy to accommodate us on the 19th of April. There is a strong possibility of a reduced landing fee (under negotiation). Shobdon has some slightly unusual procedures so please brief before departure.

I will post more when I have the landing fee sorted.

I intend coming too. Also possibly three more from Farty Corner. Haven't been to Shobdon for years, hope I can find it!

It clashes with Fenland, unless someone knows differently.

Someone I know would easily get to both on the same day, but personally I like to chill awhile contemplating the miracle of flight rather than dashing off before the chocks are in.

If PPR can be delayed until the weather's giving us some clues, I'm prevaricating.
Nothing new there, then.

I was expecting people to arrive before 12 and leave after 2 (local). I am expecting to make it between 10:00 and 11:00, but obviously depends on the weather. I will post closer to the time.

We're hoping to come over from Croft Farm in G-AYTR, but we can't be there until about 2.30 - is anyone else staying into the afternoon?

Aaaagghh!
I don't believe it! Every weekend it gets worse. Forecast for Saturday is heavy and persistant rain. :(
I might take up chess, allegedly its pretty exciting taking a rook!!
