ASI repair

Post by tnowak » Thu Mar 05, 2015 9:55 am

Can anyone recommend a good, UK based, instrument repair shop who may be able to repair a United Instruments ASI? The needle pinion/handstaff needs replacing.
Thanks

Tony,

You could give Mike Hutchinson (Glider Instruments) at Shobdon a call. He attended to an ASI of mine a few years ago. Even if he can't help, he might know someone who can. The last phone number I have for him is 01568 708368.

Good luck!

John.

Hi John,

Mike H has the ASI but it needs a new pinion, which he can't source at the moment.
Wondered if anyone knew of other repair shops who may be able to help.

Thanks
