Prop dings
Unable to ring engineering atm as its Easter, I know dings need filing out and how it has to be done but no guidance on who can do it etc. Does anyone have experience of this?

Re: Prop dings
I would have thought a certified prop shop. They will have the manufacturer's specifications as to what is allowable. Also, prop will need a balance check as well.
A few years ago I got a very good service from Brinkley Propeller Services Ltd when my metal prop required attention.

Re: Prop dings
Ian Hi!
If the Prop originates from Certified Manufacturer like MT then best to return to them. Expensive though! Don't ask how I know!
A call to Rupert Vasey at Hercules Props would be worth making. Other than making Props he also repairs and overhauls Props. Tel. No. 01453 885853 or 07976533615. He overhauled my 1943 Flottorp Prop. Great job.
