I recall reading very recently about the criteria for nominations for LAA awards; but I cannot now trace where this was (not in the Oct magazine). Grateful if someone could refer me to a URL or post
a. the categories
b. how to nominate

Dear All
I have been asked to co-ordinate the Service Awards to be presented at the AGM. Could you please forward any nomination(s) you would like to put forward to me by the 14th of November?
Below is a list of awards we intend presenting:
Lois Parker (for services to LAA: usually a member for assisting the LAA behind the scenes)
Pete Clark (for contribution to Air Safety)
Ted Moslin (a sum of money around £400 to buy tools for a young person who is starting a career in light aircraft maintenance. The young person nominated must be in employment with a company servicing lihgt aircraft)
Faulkner Bryant Cup (Best Strut)
Bill Woodhams (for a feat of navigation)
Swalesong (new design feature - a part or device that shows ingenuity and can be used on other aircraft in the LAA fleet. Must have been cleared by Engineering and flying on at least one aircraft).
Many thanks
