Good to see that G-STYX has now finally been settled. This was the "legal issue" which was rumored to be the problem regarding a merger with the BMAA. At one time it was thought that the case could bankrupt the BMAA, so it is good to see this was wide of the mark!

G-STYX
In what respect has it been settled Rod? I knew nothing about this but after seing this post, took a look at the AAIB report. Pretty damning stuff for the BMAA system sadly (there but for the grace of God springs to mind - I think we all know of the odd short cuts taken by folk who THINK they know)
Rod has probably got his information from an erroneous post on the BMAA forum.

I have edited this post because the information is not correct, G-STYX is not settled yet. As soon as it is an official press release will be issued by the BMAA. Until this happens please do not post further as this may affect the final outcome of this case.

To re-iterate.
G-STYX is not settled and any information to this effect is currently erroneous.
Furthermore, further public speculation is not helpful to anyone in the case.
We'll leave this thread in place for the moment (for clarity), but will remove it if any inappropriate postings are made.
I have posted this in agreement and following a request from Geoff Weighall - CEO of BMAA.
