Gordon, it was not the BMAA that pulled the plug on any further discussions..

Anyway that is not the issue. Further discussions were halted due to G-STYX. That is now over. Discussions now restart should be being requested from the EC, following its first meeting of 09 of course..

What the EC or Council want is not the issue is it.. its what the members want and the members want it.

The tail does not wag the dog.

Best

BJ
ps - when can I call and collect my tail dragger trailer? I need to get that on ebay..

Hi BJ

I have been over your strip a few times nov/dec but you were not about. We have put up some new hangars increasing our capacity by some 9 permit/microlight hangar spaces and I am moving out of my present hangar into one of the new ones. So this would be an opportune time to sort something out with the trailer. I will call you in the next couple of days, but there is no rush/problem with it being here from my perspective, it is locked inside, safe enough and not in the way.

Best regards
Gordon McDill

Ps; Yes gentlemen, here we have a Council member and EC member bubbling along quite happily and welcoming each others types and interests.

Two newcomers to my strip are BMAA types, no flexwings yet but they are more than welcome, in fact it would be nice to have some. What we aim to achieve is a non-political group of like minded individuals who just want to fly their planes. :D

As a bit of thread drift,a few BMAA types have shown interest in the BB fly-outs.In the interest of harmony they are very welcome (As indeed is any-one), whatever the mode of transport!

And has always been the case except when you or I have been gagged for daring to speak to each other.. Even now I am under attack by Mike Hallem/Hallam? for daring to speak up on this BB.. sigh.. I really dont know why each side sees the other as a threat, Gordon, I really dont. Maybe I will have to stand for the LAA EC this year on the merger ticket and let the membership decide, eh. What do you think?

Best

BJ
(I am still hoping to buy that tail dragger back so I will get the trailer eventually :-) )
