Hi Gary, I believe there was a Chevron SLMG for safe on AFORS, about the 7K mark, there may be others for sale on the BMAA site too?

Cheers Will.

I know of a Slingsby T61 that is in need of its rebuild finishing.
No money is being asked for just a donation to a charity. My contact details are on the inspectors page for HP23 5RL

Hi Gary, most T-31 conversions have a VW engine, there is a friend of mine Ivan who has good knowledge of them, he does lurk on here so you may hear from him? Also saw this on AFORS http://www.afors.com/index.php?page=adv ... 674&imid=0

Very slight thread drift, but I was recently, and idly, mulling over the feasibility of "doing a Motor Tutor" starting with a different glider. (Given that there aren't many T31's left to convert...) You can buy, e.g. an old Blanik (high-wing two-seater; rugged all metal machine; nice flapped wing), for 4000 euros or so, chop the nose off, and install a little engine and some proper wheels... Just a thought. (You did say you wanted a project Gary :) )

Hi Will,
yes i saw the tutor in afors about a 2 months ago but i am after a motor glider like the slingsby, or the chevveron, there was a chap who wanted to exchange me a chevveron down south from a flying school one of his chevverons is on AFORS 6,995 but this is another story(He backed out said it was to far to travel to get to me! (This was an exchange for a 6 berth sailing yatch(Ketch 35ft which is moored here! BUT!!! just for the readers the ketch was valued at 22,000 all i wanted was a stright swop!!!! :(
i am looking for a long term project what with building the house this year and joining HFS to get flying the challenger here, i will be getting a bit buisy! so a long term would be ideal,a rebuild, duff engine replacement ,whatever, just to keep my hands in.

The flying club here are cancelling the flights due to bad winds i am going to see the instructor thurs! tommorow ! and hopefully get some good news from them! i will keep in touch thanks again will! i will drop alan turney a line see if he has any news!

Hi Gary, I have an SF25A to sell. It is an early motor falke, two seats side by side, Hirth engine, it de rigs like a glider. It needs a complete re cover plus a bit of wood work. made in 1963. It is located near Manchester and I am looking for a modest price. PM me for more info.

Hi Gary, if you are still looking for a motor glider, a friend of mine has two Falkes that may be up for sale, both need a small amount of work, not much though. I think one just needs a coat of paint, and trim re-fitting. If you are interested i PM me, and i will give details.
Regards,

James Wilshaw
