Prop for Jab 3300 in Pelican

Post by Mike Fortescue » Tue Jul 21, 2009 12:44 pm

Dutch acquaintance (in Holland) as asked me to post:

"I´m changing the engine on my Pelican for a Jabiru 3300. Because the
performance of the pelican is below the J400 I thought a standard Jabiru
prop will be oké. Does any body know a Jabiru J400 owner that changed his
prop and has a standard prop hanging on the wall?"

Grateful for responses in this Forum and topic thread, or by PM to me

Mike

The UK pelican I fly in has still got the Rotax 912 and is underpowered the ground adjustable prop is a three bladed plastic one and that is probably the best one to go for as the variables allow experiment.
