Have been in touch with Sywell regarding the exhibitors - Who are they?

The nice lady at Sywell told me "a private firm are organising the exhibitors, I will ask them to contact you", she also went on to say, "not worth you driving in if all they sell is 'hot dogs'"

Think I'll fly to Sturgate, they have a 'do' on and they know what's happening.

I didnt go today either due to the wind, but its all due to calm down overnight, so should be fine in the morning. Shortfield, I Dont know what exhibitors are there, but surely some will be aviation related and that will be more than you get at Sturgate (not that its not a nice place to fly to) but at Sywell you will also get lots of interesting aircraft to see and probably lots of friends to meet, or at least interesting people to talk to about their aircraft. Surely thats the point of going to the fly-in, I dont really care about exhibitors.
If you look at the list of aircraft booked in for tomorrow there are a lot of interest.
Looking forward to a great day tomorrow.

Me too. I been stomping my feet all day until I had to give up hoping for a weather window. Tomorrow will be better. I am looking forward to it.

No doubt a dumb question but, what are the co-ordinates for Sywell? It isn't in Pooleys or Lockyears.
How far is it from Kingsmuir, Just in case/future ref?

Look under Northampton.

I just go back. A lot of aircraft present and something of the old rally spirit air side. The ensthusiasts were out in force. A good day out.

Thanks Sywell.

It was a good event. Sywell are to be congratulated on listening and making changes which led to a very good do.
