Firewall Sealant

Post by paul330 »

Anybody know where I can find firewall sealant in the UK? Preferably in a tin rather than semkit.

You can get a fireproof silicon sealant from most DIY outlets. You need the applicator gun as well if you go for that option. I use the stuff to seal my woodburner flue and that almost glows red hot when I have a full "head of steam".

Thanks Guys. Found an outlet for aircraft quality stuff - expensive, but not in the big scheme of things......
