Just remember the Lycoming adverts - only Lycoming can give you the quality you need?

But doubtless it will affect any permit aircraft with the same kit

It will almost certainly affect some permit aircraft.

See http://www.precisionairmotive.com/ for the SB wording. Basically if you have a Certified RSA-5, RSA-10 or Silver Hawk EX-5VA1, EX-10VA1 Fuel Injection Servo that is new or has been repaired since 22nd August 2006 you may be affected. There is a list of serial number on the website.

Service Bulletins are advisory, not mandatory. This affects only a small number of units, stop panicking !

Have checked mine... no probs. Inspector says not to bother with a log book entry until it's formally issued by EASA.
