LAA magazine

Post by 028098 »

As it's just after Christmas I'm getting twitchy waiting for the January edition of the LAA magazine.
Any ideas as to when it should drop through my letter box?

I'm sorry for the delay but it should be with you imminently. It was completed early and printed by the time the printer closed for the Christmas holidays. Unfortunately they closed for the whole period, not starting again until 2nd Jan so it had to be bagged and mailed during the back end of last week. I hope most members will see it dropping through their letterboxes tomorrow (Monday).

Well worth the wait but how bizarre that it should arrive on the same day as the February edition of Flyer (a Christmas pressie, I hasten to add!)

Personally, I've always found it bizarre that most monthly publications seem to come out almost a month before their cover date month, and are no longer available by the time said month begins.
The silliest example of this was a few years ago when I encountered a "Christmas Edition" of a magazine with a cover date of January!

I quite like the LAA mag and my local parish magazine for being firmly rooted in the present.
