Zenith toe brake geometry

Hi all
I have flown two Zenith 601HDs and both have awkward toe brake geometry. Does anyone know of any mods to alleviate this?

Mick the601XL has a revised layout with aluminium brake pedals and a similar set up is being used on the STOL 750. I will pm you.
