Firstly, many thanks for introducing me to this interesting little aeroplane. I can see now why your post went unanswered for a couple of days, as I'm sure that a few folk probably thought , as I did , that this sounded more like a query for The Kennel Club.
I can't say for sure, but my gut feeling is that it certainly should be PtF eligible, as its cousins certainly are. Hasn't a Bulldog been given Permit IFR approval recently ?
I'm sure that Francis' gang should be able to put you right on this one.
What a great little vintage aircraft, I feel ashamed at not identifying it.
Perhaps I need to order a new anorak
