Hi Everyone
I'm looking to repair a Shadow DD tailplane and will need to recover. I fancy using Oratex and wondered if anyone had some leftover from a project - together with cement, etc - they want to sell. Othersise I'll try Ceconite with all it's doping, etc so anyone with any of that stuff?
Many thanks T.

Hi T,
Oratex comes pre-coloured, so you need to choose your colour. There is an Oratex supplier here in UK who also supplies glue and tapes etc. www.g-tlac.com
Ceconite requires many different coats of different dopes (and thinners etc.) and is a much more time consuming process. LAS sells everything you need.

Re: Oratex or Ceconite Wanted
Hi Tony
Thanks for that and 'yes' I was aware of the differences and that Oratex has different colours. I did a bit of comparison just today (while a workman was fixing a problem in the house) and think that for my small job the costs of Oratext is far less than the costs of all the dope required for a fabric finish. Think that's the way I will go so fingers crossed!
Cheers
