Help choosing A/c for me, my wife and my 30Kg Dog

I'm looking for the best LAA aircarft to fly myself (70Kgs) my wife (less than me), our 27Kg Chow Chow Dog (medium size dog) + overnight bag ..

I'm considering the J400 but don't need the 4 seats and the RV6/7 but worried about access ..

Looking for high cruise speed for touring . ..

Any ideas / advice ??

One thing to consider with the dog is the noise level in the cockpit. I fly an RV6 and I would definitely not take my Cocker Spaniel because RV's are very noisy.

She has been for a quick bimble in an Emeraude which is still quite noisy and didn't enjoy it much. It's possible to obtain doggy ear-muffs but again your dog may not enjoy wearing them much.

Most of the Rotax 4-stroke types are considerably quieter.

A friend of mone has a J400 and doesn't use the rea seats, he and his wife wanted the additional room to what their previous two seat Jab had. Jabiru also build a two seater with additional baggage space based on a slightly shorter (I think) J400 fuselage. Worth looking into.

J400 is on my list .. only one I flew cruised at 115Kts at 27LPH ..

Anything other aircarft that will fit the bill ??

The jodel 2 seater parcel shelf is ideal for Dogs as is the D1050 which is a 2+2.
A friend of mine's dog used to sit on the rear shelf of aJodel D.120 and only barked if it saw another aircraft. A kind of canine proximity warning device!

How many hours as he got in his Dogbook? I think you have to keep hours flown by dogs according to the Canine Aviation Authority, CAA for short.
