This will be a disaster if it actually comes to pass, and the UK remains in EASA:

The upshot - hours spent flying your LAA permit aircraft may not count towards keeping your EASA SEP licence current. Does the LAA have any more information on this, and what is their strategy to preventing this (if it's not rendered moot by brexit?)
