Initial LAA costs

Hi All,

We are hoping to purchase an aircraft within the next 6 months. If the aircraft is already on a permit, what costs can we expect (if any) to transfer the ownership details to ourselves?

We will have an inspection of the aircraft done by an LAA inspector, but i'm thinking more of permit transfer to different owner costs etc.

Hi Dom, there is no charge from LAA if you buy a Permit aircraft. You, and any joint owners, have to be a member but that's it until permit time. I expect the £60 ak mentions is the CAA charge for change of ownership on the aircraft registration document.
