La Luciole is a remarkable single seater powered by a Briggs & Stratton lawnmower engine. [And possibly soon an electric motor]
The detailed description of the concept and the construction can be found in "Pilotes" mag edition no 5 of Juillet-Aout 2007. This can be ordered from the back-copy section [acheter d'anciens numeros] on the Pilotes website. Also on that website are some videos of the Luciole and other interesting aircraft. [Click on "Les plus" for the videos]

Not really, the LAA article gives a good account of the aeroplane, to whet our appetites. But the original Pilotes account takes in the arrival at the concept, the aerodynamics, the choice of materials, the selection and modification of the engine, the flight testing, and much else over 30 pages. Seeing the video of two Lucioles in flight, and on the ground gives a good sense of the size of the machine, and how it handles.
