We are looking closely at purchasing a Piel Emeraude to form a group around in Yorkshire. We have noticed looking at the G-INFO list, and those for sale that they are either C90 or 0-200 powered, with MTOW's of 610kg, 650kg or 700kg. It appears that all C90's are 610 or 650kg and most O-200's are 70...

Is it allowed under LAA/Permit rules to have someone build an aircraft for you from plans? Not a factory, but lets say a sole person building a Jodel from plans. Is this allowed on permit?
